SLOW COOKER CHICKEN (Heart Healthy)

ingredients

4 oz.  low sodium chicken broth

1.5 lb. chicken breast

8 oz. Mild Dipp-iT Salsa

1/4 cup green onions

1 packet reduced sodium taco seasoning

instructions

Combine 4 oz. low sodium chicken broth, 8 oz. of mild Dipp-iT Salsa, and a packet of reduced sodium taco seasoning into small bowl and mix together. Place chicken in slow cooker and top with ingredients from small bowl. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred, return to slow cooker and stir. Garnish with green onions and serve over greens with shredded Monterey Jack cheese .

SALSA RANCH

ingredients

3 tbsp Hot Dipp-iT Salsa 

1 cup whole milk

(1) 8 oz. ranch packet

1 cup mayonnaise

instructions

Mix all ingredients together in 20 oz. mason jar.

Shake well and refrigerate.

SOUTHWEST CHILI

ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 yellow onion

1 16 oz. can dark red kidney bean

1 16 oz. can red kidney bean

1 16 oz. jar Medium Dipp-iT Salsa*

1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes

4 tbsp chili powder

1 tbsp cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

4 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp kosher salt

instructions

Brown ground beef on stove top over medium heat. Drain any fat. Dice onion. Drain and rinse both cans of beans. Combine all ingredients into slow cooker. Cook on high for 3-5 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Top with cheddar cheese, green onions, cilantro, corn chips, or other favorite toppings.

*To spice it up a notch use Hot Dipp-iT Salsa

Habanero Salsa Cream Cheese

ingredients

2 tsp red onion (chopped)

1 habanero pepper (chopped)*

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

10 tbsp Hot Dipp-iT Salsa

1 package cream cheese (8oz)

instructions

Add package of cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl, set aside. Finely chop red onion measuring out 2 tsp, add to bowl. Destem habanero pepper, finely chop and add to bowl. Add cumin powder, cayenne pepper, and Hot Dipp-iT Salsa to bowl. Using hand mixer, blend all ingredients well. Place in fridge to thicken. Best served chilled. 

 

*To spice it up a notch add an additional habanero pepper

Smoked Chorizo Queso

ingredients

8 oz. Dipp-iT Salsa

8 oz. peppr jack cheese cubes

8 oz. cheddar cheese cubes

4 oz. cream cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella

1 lb ground chorizo

1 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cumin seed

1/3 red onion diced

1/2 cup chopped cilantro

instructions

Preheat smoker to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Brown chorizo on stove top. Combine all ingredients in cast iron skillet. Place dish on smoker for 30-45 minutes. Stir dish every 15 minutes. Remove from smoker and garnish with fresh cilantro.

ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese

(4) 10 inch flour tortillas 

(1) 4 oz. can chopped black olives

1/2 cup green onions

(1) 4 oz. can green chilies 

1 cup sour cream

instructions

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and black olives into mixing bowl. Chop green onions and strain green chilies, then add both to bowl. Use hand mixer to blend ingredients together. Spread mixture evenly over tortillas. Roll tortillas tightly. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil, place in fridge to chill. Remove from plastic or foil and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Serve with your choice of Dipp-iT Salsa!
